After much consideration, the decision has been made to keep school open today.
My concern is the start of the day and travelling, so with this in mind I would like to give the option of an extended start to the day. The gates will open normal time at 8.30 am but those travelling by car can come in anytime up until 10 am to help relieve the pressure.
Please ensure you leave a message on the absence line if you are unable to travel or if you wish to come in later as detailed above.
If conditions worsen during the day and you feel the need to come an pick up you child again, this is perfectly acceptable to us also.
Any planned forest school or PE will not take place outside today. Activities will be indoors.
Children all in warm clothes please and if possible, a change of shoes.
We will not be having a Celebration assembly today at 9 am. This is something we will do with the children later in the day.
As detailed yesterday, as parents you are best placed to decide on your local conditions and if it is safe or otherwise to allow children to attend school. You should always use your own judgement in determining this.
